Program Overview

The Public Health Bachelor of Arts degree at Dean takes a holistic approach to health, exploring essential variables at the individual, community, national, and international levels. You will learn to assess health needs, develop interventions, and advocate for policies that promote health, equity, and social justice.

Assess the strengths and weaknesses of any given healthcare system

Upon completion of the bachelor’s degree program at Dean, you will graduate with the skills necessary to begin your career in public health. Students may alternatively choose to attend graduate school with a focus on research, medicine, policy development, and/or advocacy.
