This sets the stage for the next part of their training.

Spending Time in Graduate School

Not only do dance therapists need to have a bachelor's degree, but they also must have a master's degree in dance therapy from a certified university. The American Dance Therapy Association, also known as the ADTA, keeps a list of these certified programs, all of which are offered at accredited colleges.
