Planning a visit to Dean this summer? Make the most of your experience with our tips and tricks for navigating the campus visit.

Choose the visit option that works for you. At Dean, we offer a variety of visit options to give you the best experience possible. Our guided campus tours are led by a student ambassador and provide the opportunity to explore campus and meet an admissions counselor afterwards. Our are held on select days throughout the summer and offer a comprehensive visit experience. You’ll get an overview of the Dean experience, a student-led campus tour, lunch in the Smith Dining Center and an optional overview of our learning support services. If you’re looking for something specific, we also offer by request. You’ll have the chance to take a tour, meet with an admissions counselor and connect with the areas you’re most interested in, like athletics, financial aid or learning support.

Talk to students, faculty and staff. Now’s your chance to hear firsthand perspectives of what Dean is like and get all your questions answered. Talk to student ambassadors and other current students about why they chose Dean, what the student experience is like and what they love most about their major Ask faculty and staff your questions about classes, internships, learning support, financial aid and more. Getting the opportunity to chat with fellow Bulldogs will help you get a feel for what the community is like.

Picture yourself on campus. Finding a school that fits you is a key part of the college admissions process. After your campus tour, take some time to walk around and picture yourself attending Dean. Can you imagine living and studying here? Do you feel comfortable and part of the community? Is this the atmosphere you’re looking for? A campus tour, brochure or website can give you all the facts about what a college is like, but only you can decide if it feels like the right place for you.

Explore the area. Your college experience goes beyond campus, so make sure you explore the area while you’re here for the campus tour. Visit the shops and restaurants in downtown Franklin, MA. Take a short drive over to Patriot Place, Gillette Stadium and the Wrentham Outlets, which are just 15 minutes away. Even explore the city: Both Boston, MA and Providence, RI are just under an hour’s drive away. There’s also an MBTA train station just a few steps from campus that will bring you right to the heart of Boston.
