Fatima Naidjate student speaker for the dean college 153rd commencement

Fatima Naidjate has been selected to speak on behalf of the students at ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ°æ’s 153rd Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 11, 2019, in Franklin, MA.

Fatima, a bachelor’s degree recipient, is a Psychology major with a minor in Sociology. While at ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ°æ, Fatima has been actively involved on campus, participating in the Student Academic Advising program and the Free Thinkers Club, where she serves as Vice President. She is also a Peer Writing Tutor.

Additionally, Fatima is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and was named to the Dean’s List every semester, as well as the President’s List for several semesters.

Fatima is most grateful for the relationships that she developed during her time at Dean. “I have been so fortunate to develop meaningful relationships with the faculty and staff,” said Fatima. “I feel the genuine care and concern from my professors. They go above and beyond to ensure that I am making the most out of my experience and I am very grateful to the beautiful community that I call home.”

After graduating, Fatima plans to move to Mississippi with her husband – they were married this past year. She plans to enroll in a graduate program in Business Administration and hopes to take on new activities, including enjoying the outdoors with weather that is “more stable” than our New England weather.
