My Dean, Why Dean? Competition Winners Announced
For the past month, our students have been hard at work producing creative ways to express The Dean Difference for the My Dean, Why Dean? Competition sponsored by Axion Business Technologies.
We challenged our sophomores, juniors and seniors, to develop persuasive messages to explain how their experiences at ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ°æ have impacted and transformed them, bringing to life, The Dean Difference.
The College received creative entries in various forms, including poetry, rap, essays and numerous video submissions. Each finalist presented their work to more than 70 business executives at the Opportunities Fair held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 on campus, resulting in three winners.
Sophomore communications major, Emily Wallace, was named the winner of the competition for her , taking home a $750 prize. The second place win of $500 was awarded to senior business management major, Lexi Newton. The honorable mention prize of $250 was awarded to junior theatre major, Michael Price.
